Pratt & Miller Announces new Collector Car Restoration DivisionFebruary 21, 2010 New Hudson, Mich., February 17, 2010 – Introducing a new endeavor for Pratt & Miller Engineering, co-founder Gary Pratt proudly announced the Collector Car Restorations Division. This new division has the capabilities for complete car fabrication, frame off restorations and restoration modification, a process in which classic and muscle cars are outfitted with modern chassis components and high performance engines. “We are excited to offer our professional engineering, and custom fabrication services to the muscle and collector car crowd,” said Pratt. After attending Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale Arizona this January, both Pratt and C6RS and Collector Car Restorations Division program director Mike Atkins were excited with the opportunity to break into this field. “We noticed a lot of beautiful cars at Barrett Jackson, and with our abilities, crew and resources, we knew we could provide just as a high quality build to our customer base as anyone in the business.” Said Atkins. Inside the 100,000 square foot New Hudson facility, Pratt & Miller offers a full machine shop that houses seven CNC machines, complete custom fabrication, custom composite capabilities and over 60 engineers with full CAD and support services available.
