PM-Tire

A complete tire procedure from testing to post-processing for application to vehicle dynamics analysis and simulation.

Drawing upon extensive simulation experience for road racing, oval racing, and production car projects, Pratt & Miller also provides tire test services tailored for vehicle dynamics modeling usage.

In Partnership with Calspan's Tire Research Facility (TIRF), we are pleased to offer comprehensive flat-track tire testing services at speeds up to 200 miles per hour.

Planning

• Scheduling, material procurement, and logistical support
• Hardware preparation (.e. wheels and spindles)
• Generation of test sequences including determination of suitable conditioning, loads, and alignment conditions
• Supplemental data acquisition support

Implementation

• On site test representation
• Review of raw data after each run for quality assurance
• Test plan adjustment upon data review

Post Processing

• Data fitting to Pacejka or custom tire models using in-house software
• Delivery of custom designed tire analysis
